Last Minute Valentine’s Card Printable

Here goes, another round of Valentine’s cards for the kids! On occasion I cringe at the thought of giving the boxed version of Valentine’s cards.  They are cute and cheap and wonderful when in an extreme hurry, but I hate when my kids come home with the same exact card they sent out! Yes, sounds petty but you know as your creative self that it makes you cringe too.  So, this year I decided to do something simple but cute.  Not an extravagant card or anything some would call special, but I designed it and my kids approved of it.  That is a full win to me!n

With that being said, I decided to share it with all of you!

How we made our cards:

nMy kids chose to use different colors of cardstock to print their valentines on.  I loaded the card stock into the printer and printed away!  We then used our paper cutter to cut these apart.  You get FOUR cards on one piece of cardstock.  Once they were all cut, I took a box cutter and made a slit where the gray lines are on the right side of the card.  (You may find that the slit needs to be a little longer than the mark I made on the card. I made the mark for a guideline, not the actual size of the cut.) The slit is for the pencil that the kids can later use to complete the maze on the valentine card.  Normally I would have tried to find cute pencils from the dollar store or a large quantity pack somewhere, but I do not have time for that.  February is a super busy month for us.  So, I let the kids choose what they wanted to order off of Amazon.  They picked out some super cute pencils with hearts and such.  The cool part, they are scented and smell sooo good!nnnn nn nn nnHope you guys enjoy these cards!  If you have issues with the printable, please feel free to message me or leave a comment below.n

Happy Valentine’s Day!!
