Drawing Ideas – With Sidewalk Chalk
A sidewalk or driveway begs to be drawn on. Don’t you think? It is an empty canvas waiting for your creative ideas to burst forth and make it beautiful. I love to watch a child pick up a piece of sidewalk chalk and draw. They draw whatever they have going on in that intriguing little mind of theirs. It could be a few strokes of different colors (an abstract artist in the making), a road and town to play with their cars on (a possible engineering path in their future), or a portrait of the family dog (a show of love like no other). On occasion you do find your child wanting to be challenged or possibly discouraged because they can’t draw what others do. Here is where a few of these little ideas may come into play. The kids and I came up with these ideas together, laughing and carrying on because some of our creative blunders were downright hilarious. We are excited to share these ideas with you! Please let us know what you think and share your awesome ideas with us if you would like!
