Simple Framed Addition For My Gallery Wall
Our house has a long hallway and I am slowly but surely making this space my picture gallery. Photos have always held a special place in my life. (I would have pictures everywhere but I know that would be a bit overwhelming.) I find myself stopping in the hallway and admiring all the memories that are hanging. These photos tell the story of our life and all the fun and love our family is about. Our visitors enjoy our hallway and looking at all the memories we have made!nnA few months ago, my husband and the kids were playing and one of my favorite picture frames crashed to the floor. I am pretty sure they were all taking bets on how fast mom would blow up. However, I believe i disappointed them by telling them it was okay and I would clean up the shattered glass. Thank goodness it broke in big pieces and not tiny ones and the majority of the damage was to the corner of the frame itself! I was glad no one was hurt but inside I was upset…. I couldn’t let them know. Moms do that. We hide things to keep the others around us from hurting when we are. I did not want their fun to turn into something bad. Although, I did remind them that they should not have been playing with the ball in the house! Dad got ‘The Look’ because, let’s face it, he is the dad and should have known better!!nnAnyways, I have had an empty spot on my gallery wall since that point. I desperately tried to find a frame just like the one I had but it was not to be found. My search did find a pretty neat floating frame and I decided to buy it. Of course, the picture that was now frame less did not look good in it. Definitely not the right vibe for the kind of picture it was. Ugh. Let down for sure. I took the frame down and put it downstairs. Maybe one day I would find something I liked to fill that hole…nnWeeks later, out of the blue, I knew exactly what I wanted in that space! The kids were preoccupied and dad was busy with work so I flew downstairs and grabbed the floating frame. I collected a few other things and set to work! The idea was building up and I had to jump on this train before it left. Within 10 minutes of playing around with all that I had gathered; I had my plan in place. Curious as to what I did?nnSo simple, so quick, and I loved it!!!n
Here it is and how I threw this all together:

Precious finds while exploring the great outdoors with my kiddos!
nYou can make your own memories and have your kids select what to preserve and use!!nnLightly spray the back of your finds with the above adhesive spray. Let it sit for a few seconds and then place around the words you chose on your back glass. Let adhesive dry for a few minutes to make sure everything is set. Then place second piece of glass on top carefully. Once this is done, you can lay the frame on top of both pieces of glass and slide to the end of table. Take your cloth and hold it under the glass to help you get the glass set within the frame and turned upside down. Now you can clasp the back of the frame and you are done!nnn
Voila!
