Survivial Instinct Gone Rogue
Life, always a fight for survival. Even in our modern times every day is a fight to stay alive. As I drove to work the other morning, I had a thought that hit me hard. We do the same routine daily. Get up, get everyone or just ourselves fed, dressed and out the door. We spend the majority of our day trying to make dollars to pay for what we need to have shelter, clothing, and food. All the things that keep us sustained so we can get up the next day and do it again. However, life looks so different than just 50 years ago. and give us a Survival Instinct gone Rogue that is what I consider our selfishness these days. Where I feel like we are born with a part of being selfish mainly to fend for ourselves for food for water for shelter for things that are necessary but in today’s world we are simply selfish with everything every aspect every turn every moment of our life so many of us are nothing but selfish. The all about me syndrome is almost worse to our society than any rampant virus. It kills more souls it bottoms out individuals it causes us depression between our guilty consciences our hatefulness because we can’t have what we want and our sadness because we can’t understand why other people have to be so selfish themselves but yet it just mirrors our own image. So what kind of vaccine do we have to fix this? How do we fix our broken people in this broken Society where everyone expects one thing a huge thing from everyone else but not themselves.
